Curfew in Philippines

Once again I’m blessed with big luck. Today around 100 rebels took control of the five star hotel Manila Peninsular just next to the hotel we were staying in. The were trying to start a coup and demanded for the resignation of president Arroyo, who's government is considered to be corruptive. The army stormed the hotel and ended the hostage without bloodshed. The point is that the government imposed a curfew during daytime on all Manila residents!
